What is Web Browser Search?

New versions of the Internet Explorer and Firefox 2 web browsers have a search box built into the browser window. By default the search box is usually linked to search engines like Google or Live Search. In order to enhance the functionality of the search box Reliant has developed several search add-ons. These add-ons will allow you to search for products from Reliant no matter what web page you happen to be viewing at that time.

Note: You can usually find the integrated search box in the top right section of the web browser window.

How to install Reliant's search add-ons.

At the top of Reliant's web site is a menu bar. Hover your mouse over the "Features" menu and move down to the "Web Browser Search" menu. You will receive several options when your mouse hovers over the "Web Browser Search" sub-menu. Select the search add-on that you would like to add to the web browser search tool. See the image below for an example.

You may begin using the new search add-on as soon as it is installed. In order to use the add-on you will need to type a message or keyword into the web browsers integrated search feature and select what search engine to use for the search. Selecting a search engine is very simple. Place the mouse cursor on top of the arrow that is next to the search box and select the arrow. The web browser will display a list of search engines that you can use. Select a Reliant search engine from the list to begin your search. See the image below for an example.
